What is the IQRush MCP?

How the MCP connector works, what it can access, and which clients are supported.

IQRush MCP is a hosted Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants read access to your brand visibility data. Instead of logging into a dashboard, you ask questions in the AI tool you already use — and the assistant calls IQRush in the background.

How it works

When you ask a question like “What’s our citation share this month?”, your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) calls the IQRush MCP server, which queries your measurement data and returns a live result. The AI then interprets that result and presents it as a readable response.

Every tool call returns live data from your most recent measurement run. Nothing is cached or pre-summarised.

What you can do

With IQRush MCP connected, you can ask your AI assistant to:

  • Compare your brand’s citation share against competitors across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Copilot

  • Track how your mention rate has changed between measurement runs

  • Identify which third-party sources are citing your competitors but not you

  • Analyse the sentiment framing of your brand across AI platforms

  • Run a drift diagnostic to detect statistically significant ranking changes

  • Pull Google Analytics 4 traffic data alongside your AI visibility data

What the connector can and cannot access

The connector can read:
  • Your projects, measurement runs, and visibility data

  • Your brand context (entity bundle and competitor bundles)

  • Your GA4 properties (if a Google Analytics 4 property is connected in IQRush Settings)

The connector cannot:
  • Create, modify, or delete projects or measurement runs

  • Change your brand context, topics, or settings

  • Access other users’ workspaces

  • All 43 tools in the connector are read-only.

Requirements
  • An IQRush account at app.iqrush.ai

  • At least one completed measurement run in your account

  • For Claude Desktop: Python 3.11+ or uv installed

  • For GA4 tools: a Google Analytics 4 property connected in IQRush Settings → Integrations → GA4

  • For ChatGPT: a ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Team plan
